Argentinian La Liga Argentina round 4 best performance: Howard Wilkerson

American Power forward Howard Wilkerson (198-PF-84) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked C.Espanol P., receiving a Interperformances La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 35-year old player had a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds, while his team outclassed Del Progreso (#3, 1-1) with 26-point margin 85-59. It allowed C.Espanol P. to consolidate first place in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. C.Espanol P. have a solid 5-1 record. It's Wilkerson's second year at C.Espanol P. and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Howard Wilkerson averages just after three games 16.0ppg and 6.7rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old Alejandro Madera (193-F/G-91) of CAO Ceres. Madera had a very good evening with a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as CAO Ceres lost that game 66-73 to NORESTE's leader Dep Norte (#2, 2-0). CAO Ceres managed to keep the same 6th spot in NORESTE. 3 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Madera is a newcomer at CAO Ceres, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.4ppg (#5). He also registered 7.6 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Josh Morris (203-F) of Racing (#5). Morris scored 27 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of Racing, leading his team to a 101-98 win against slightly higher-ranked Rocamora (#4, 1-2). Racing can only dream about fighting for top spots in CENTRO. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Morris he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Morris has individually a great season in Argentina. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.5ppg (9th best) and rebounds with 9.7rpg (8th best). He also has 1.3bpg and FGP: 77.4%.
