20-year old guard Agustin Perez (192-G-99) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team C.Espanol P. and receives a Interperformances La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 21.
He had the game-high 33 points adding four rebounds and four assists for C.Espanol P. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Atenas (#7, 5-19) 94-81. It allowed C.Espanol P. to consolidate first place in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. C.Espanol P. has a very solid 14-7 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Perez had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. It's his second year at C.Espanol P. and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Perez has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 17.4ppg) and averages solid 57.9% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Franco Pennacchiotti (205-C/F-90) of Villa Mitre. He is a in his second season at Villa Mitre. In the last game Pennacchiotti recorded impressive double-double of 24 points and 18 rebounds. Of course he led Villa Mitre to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Del Progreso (#6, 6-15) 107-84. Villa Mitre's 3rd position in SUR has not changed. His team's 13-9 record is not bad at all. Pennacchiotti is well-known at Villa Mitre and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.3ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 13.3rpg and 3.1apg.
Third place about best performers goes to swingman Gustavo Maranguello (191-G/F-83) of Del Progreso (#6). Maranguello showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, fifteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Del Progreso, leading his team to a 104-66 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Atenas (#7, 5-19). Del Progreso can only dream about fighting for top spots in SUR. They have rather bad season and 6-15 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Maranguello has a very solid season. In 21 games in Argentina he scored 15.4ppg. He also has 7.3rpg and FGP: 64.6%.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
