Libertad Sunchales (La Liga) inked 28-year old Haitian ex-international center Marvin Dominique (201-98kg-91, college: St.Peter's). He has a double citizenship as he also holds American passport. Dominique started the season at Malvin in Uruguayan LUB league. In 5 games he averaged 7.4ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.0spg this season. The last season Dominique played at Koop Spor (Super Ligi) in Cypriot league where in 21 games he was third best scorer with impressive 21.4ppg and recorded 11.2rpg (#3 in the league) and 1.5apg. Dominique helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Cyprus Super Ligi Forward of the Year, selected to 1st Team and selected to All-Imports Team. He was a member of Haitian Senior National Team two years ago.
Dominique is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Denmark (Horsholm), France (Aix Maurienne and Sorgues BC), Luxembourg (Bascharage) and Spain.
Dominique attended Saint Peter's University until 2015 and it is his fifth season in pro basketball.
