Penarol adds Talbot to their roster, ex Sayago

Penarol Mar del Plata (La Liga) added to their roster 26-year old American center Gilbert Talbot (208-122kg-94, college: LSUA, agency: One Motive Sports). He started the season at Sayago in Uruguayan LUB league. In 24 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.8ppg, 7.8rpg and 1.2apg this season. The last season Talbot played at FoKoPo (1st Division) in Finnish league where in 22 games he averaged remarkable 21.0ppg, 15.9rpg (leader !!!), 2.9apg and 1.1spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Finnish 1st Division A Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (3 times).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his college team won RRAC Tournament in 2017. Talbot was also voted All-RRAC 1st Team back in 2017.
He graduated from Louisiana State University at Alexandria in 2017 and it is his third season as a professional player.
