Libertad Sunchales (La Liga) added to their roster 25-year old small forward Mauricio Corzo (195-95). He played last season at Atenas in the La Liga Argentina. In 33 games he was league's third best scorer with impressive 19.6ppg and had 5.5rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Argentina 2nd Team and League Player of the Week (2 times).
The previous (18-19) season Corzo played at San Isidro (also in La Liga Argentina) where in 58 games he recorded 11.9ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.2apg and 1.2spg. He helped them to win the regular season.
Corzo has played previously for three other teams: Olimpico de La Banda, Obera Tennis Club and Sportivo 9 de Julio Rio Tercero.
