Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Argentinians who are currently playing abroad.
#1. This week's number one is an international guard
Nicolas Laprovittola (190-90, currently plays in Spain). He led
Real Madrid to a victory over the fifth-ranked Joventut (3-1) crushing them
87-64 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Sunday night's game.
Laprovittola was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points, had 4 boards, passed 5 assists and added 3 steals in 31 minutes on the court.
Real Madridis placed in the Liga Endesa.
Laprovittola has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 16.5ppg, 4.0rpg, 5.5apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 54.5% in two games he played so far.
Laprovittola played for the Argentinian senior national team one years ago.
#2. Second place goes to an experienced international power forward
Luis Scola (206-80, currently plays in Italy). He was the main contributor in an
Openjobmetis VA's victory against the 12th-ranked Brescia (0-2)
94-89 in the Italian Serie A last Sunday.
Scola was the best player in that game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 11 rebounds.
Openjobmetis Varese (2-0) is placed third in Group A.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
This year Scola has very high stats. He averages: 18.0ppg, 8.5rpg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 47.6%, 3FGP: 37.5% and FT: 63.6%.
Scola has a dual citizenship: Argentinian and Spanish.
He played for the Argentinian national team in 2019.
#3. The Argentinian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international guard
Juan Fernandez (193-90, college:
Temple, currently plays in Italy). Fernandez contributed to a 2-point
Trieste's victory against the fifth-ranked Sassari (1-0)
74-72 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday night.
He was the top player that evening. Fernandez scored 20 points, made 5 passes and 3 steals in 30 minutes.
Allianz Pallacanestro Trieste (2-1) is placed first in Group C.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
It's Fernandez's fourth year with the team.
He has relatively good stats this season: 14.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 6.5apg, 2.5spg, 2FGP: 66.7%, 3FGP: 14.3% and FT: 83.3% in two games.
Fernandez is another player who holds two passports: Argentinian and Italian.
He played for the Argentinian national team six years ago.
#4. Guard
Facundo Campazzo (181-91, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nicolas Laprovittola. But that was another game of his team in Euroleague which we would like to mention.
Campazzo could not help
Real Madrid (0-1) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance Real Madrid was defeated
76-63 on the road by the much higher-ranked Baskonia (#3).
Campazzo was the top scorer with 17 points. He also added 5 rebounds. It was his first game for Real Madrid this season.
Campazzo is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Real Madrid's roster.

#5. International forward
Nicolas Brussino (202-93, currently plays in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the 16th-ranked Gran Canaria (0-3)
88-71 in the Spanish Liga Endesa last Sunday.
He scored 15 points, had 4 boards, passed 7 assists and added 4 steals in 33 minutes.
Casademont Zaragozais placed in the Liga Endesa.
This year Brussino has relatively solid stats: 12.3ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.7apg and 2.7spg in three games.
He used to play for the Argentinian national team
last year.
#6. Guard
Luca Vildoza (191-95, currently plays in Euroleague) faced previously mentioned Facundo Campazzo in the Euroleague last game.
Vildoza contributed to
Baskonia's victory against one of league's weakest teams Real Madrid (0-1)
76-63.
He recorded 12 points and added 4 assists. It was his first game for Baskonia this season.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
Vildoza has been at the team for four years.
Vildoza is international player as he played for the Argentinian senior team one years ago.
#7. Former international guard
Erik Thomas (195-95, college:
New Orleans, currently plays in Mexico) contributed to a 3-point
Soles' victory against the sixth-ranked Abejas (1-9)
89-86 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) in Saturday night's game.
He was the top player that evening. Thomas recorded 36 points (!!!), 4 assists and 5 steals (made all of his seven free throws) in 33 minutes.
Soles de Mexicaliis placed in West group.
It's Thomas' first season with the team.
He has very impressive stats this year: 18.0ppg, 7.6rpg, 3.6apg and 2.1spg in 10 games.
Thomas is a naturalized American.
He used to play for the Argentinian national team
three years ago.
Thomas played also for Regatas Corrientes in Argentinian league.
#8. Guard
Nicolas Romano (200-87, currently plays in Mexico) contributed to a
Fuerza Regia's victory against the fourth-ranked Plateros (5-5)
83-77 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) last Sunday.
He was the top player that evening. Romano scored 17 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
Fuerza Regia Monterrey (3-5) is placed fifth in East group.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Romano's overall stats this season are: 9.1ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.1apg.
He used to play for the Argentinian national team
back in 2016.
#9. International forward
Gabriel Deck (198-95, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nicolas Laprovittola and both played together in the last Spanish Liga Endesa game.
Deck helped

La ICL Manresa (2-2) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Vaulet's good performance La ICL Manresa was defeated
82-74 in Valencia by the second-ranked Basket.
He scored 12 points.
Vaulet has averaged so far 6.8ppg and 1.8rpg.
He plays currently for the Argentinian national team.
#12. U19 international swingman
Leandro Bolmaro (198-0, currently plays in Spain) managed to help FC Barcelona Lassa in a victory against the 15th-ranked Bilbao
82-64 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Sunday night's game.
Bolmaro scored 5 points in 20 minutes.
Bolmaro has averaged so far 2.3ppg and 1.3rpg in three games.
He used to play for the Argentinian U19 national team

#13. Former U21 international point guard
Lautaro Lopez (188-99, currently plays in Slovakia) was not able to secure a victory for
Inter Bratislava (1-2) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Lopez's very good performance Inter Bratislava was crushed
98-77 on the opponent's court by the leading Lucenec.
He was the second best scorer with 19 points. Lopez also added 8 rebounds and dished 8 assists.
This season Lopez has very high stats. He averages: 18.0ppg, 6.7rpg, 8.7apg and 2.7spg.
Lopez used to play for the Argentinian U21 national team

#14. Former international small forward
Carlos Delfino (198-82, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help
Pesaro (2-1) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Delfino's good performance the second-placed Pesaro was defeated
95-85 at home by the lower-ranked Sassari (#5) in the Group D.
He recorded 12 points and added 3 assists. It was his first game for Pesaro this season.

Lucas Faggiano (188-89, college:

#2. Ariel Filloy (190-PG-87, agency:
Interperformances, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help
Pesaro (2-1) in their last game. Despite his good performance the second-placed Pesaro (2-1) lost
72-81 on the opponent's court to the lower-ranked (#7) Cantu in the Group D.
Filloy scored 11 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 27 minutes.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
Filloy has averaged so far 9.5ppg, 3.0rpg and 4.0apg in two games he played so far.

#3. Guido Mariani (193-G-94, currently plays in Mexico) was not able to secure a victory for

Mariani scored 8 points in 20 minutes.

Ibbenbueren's victory against the 14th-ranked BSV Wulfen (0-2)
83-71 in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) on Saturday night.

bringiton Ballers Ibbenbueren (2-0) is placed second in West group.
