Asociacion Quimsa Santiago del Estero (LaLiga) landed experienced 34-year old Colombian ex-international forward Mabel Martinez (180cm-82kg). It is actually her comeback to Santiado del Estero as she has played here before. Martinez played in the summer at Team Cali in Colombian Liga Superior. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very good season in her career as she was selected to Colombian All-Star Game.
Martinez also represented Colombia at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) two years ago. Her team got to the Semifinals and her stats at that event were 4 games: 9.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 1.3apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 30.8%, 3PT: 23.1%, FT: 80.0%.
Martinez has played previously professionally in Colombia (Titanes and Popayan) and Ecuador (Leones).
Among many awards Martinez won Argentinian La Liga Clausura championship title in 2019. She received also Latinbasket.com All-South American Championships 1st Team award back in 2016.
