San Isidro sign a second USA player, ex Sameji

San Isidro San Francisco (La Liga Argentina) inked 32-year old American center Anthony Johnson (203cm-120kg-88, college: Fairfield). He joins another USA player Myo Baxter-Bell who is already in the roster.
Johnson played recently at Sameji in Santiago League in Dominican Republic. In two games he recorded 8.0ppg, 3.5rpg and 2.0apg this season.
He is a very experienced player. Johnson has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to ten different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Johnson has played previously professionally also in Brazil (Corinthians), Cyprus, Israel (Hasharon), Mexico, Puerto Rico (Atleticos and Brujos), Ukraine, Uruguay (Atletico Welcome, Defensor, Atenas, Bigua and Nacional), Venezuela (Toros and Guaros), Argentina (Bahia) and Dominican Republic (Soles de Santo Domingo and Caneros Del Este).
Among many awards he played in the final of Liga Sudamericana in 2016 and 2019. Johnson received also Latinbasket.com All-Liga Americas Center of the Year award back in 2017.
He attended Fairfield University until 2010 and it is his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
