Guard Lisandro Ruiz Moreno (185-89) fired 23 points for the winners. Facundo Carulla (193-93) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Echague players scored in double figures. Echague's coach Oscar Bonell used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Celestino Cupulutti (186-93, agency: BIG) produced 19 points and 5 rebounds and forward Lautaro Mare (196-98) added 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Echague maintains third position with 12-6 record behind leader Dep Viedma. Dep Norte lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with five games lost. Point guard Fermin Thygesen (186-98) scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Matias Eidintas (186-95) chipped in 22 points during the contest. At the losing side Pablo Alderete (198-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Carlos Gianella (181) scored 19 points. Four GELP players scored in double figures. GELP's coach Mauro Tartaglia rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Dep Viedma maintains first position with 10-3 record. Strangely Rivadavia outrebounded Atenas 43-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Genaro Lorio (192-97) notched 22 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and forward Cesar Lavoratornuovo (189-91) supported him with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Atenas' coach Diego Lifschitz allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 26 points and 9 rebounds by forward Agustin Mas Delfino (194-97) did not help to save the game for Rivadavia. Power forward Estefano Simondi (201-96) added 8 points and 13 rebounds for lost side. Atenas moved-up to tenth place, which they share with San Isidro and CAO Ceres. Rivadavia lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with ten games lost. Atenas will have a break next round. Rivadavia will play at home against the league's leader Dep Viedma (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
