Regatas Corrientes (La Liga) inked 25-year old Argentinian 185cm guard Juan Arengo for upcoming season. It is actually his comeback to Regatas Corrientes as he has played here before. Arengo played last summer at Hurricanes in Colombian LPB league. In 6 games he averaged impressive 18.2ppg, 5.3rpg, 3.5apg and 2.0spg.
The most of last season he spent at Regatas Corrientes in Argentinian La Liga where in 40 games he had 11.3ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.8apg and 1.2spg. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week. He also played for Regatas (La Liga Argentina). In 40 games he recorded 11.3ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.8apg. Good season as he was also here selected League Player of the Week.
He represented Argentina at the Albert Schweitzer Tournament in Germany (Unofficial World Championships U18) seven years ago. His stats at that event were 3 games: 7.0ppg, 2.3rpg, 1.3apg, 1.7spg, FGP: 26.9%, 3PT: 17.6%, FT: 0%.
Arengo's game is described as: A very promising guard, with great personality and long shooting range.
