David Nesbitt (ex Minas) agreed terms with Boca- July 29, 2021
The previous (19-20) season he played at Corinthians (NBB). In 26 games he had 12.5ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0spg. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Latinbasket.com Brazilian League All-Imports Team and League Player of the Week (2 times). He has been also a member of Bahamas international program for some years. Nesbitt has regularly played for Bahamas senior team since 2015 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2008. He represented Bahamas at the CBC Championships in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) six years ago. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 6 games: 9.0ppg, 7.2rpg, FGP: 50.0%, 3PT: 28.6%, FT: 82.4%. Nesbitt is a very experienced player. Thanks to Nesbitt's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in five different countries. He has played previously professionally in Iraq (Al Mina), Kazakhstan (Kaspiy Aktau), Uruguay (Goes), Brazil (Flamengo and Paulistano) and Argentina (Olimpico de La Banda). Among many awards he won Brazilian National League championship title for two years in a row (2018 and 2019). Nesbitt was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Liga Sudamericana 1st Team in 2019. He attended Saint Thomas University until 2012 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
