Riachuelo de La Rioja (La Liga Argentina) signed 32-year old American guard Donald Robinson (192cm-85kg-89, college: WVU Tech) for upcoming 2022 season. Robinson played last season at Al Jazira in UAE ULB league.
He is quite experienced player. Robinson has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Hungary (Atomeromu), United Kingdom (Plymouth Patriots and Glasgow Rocks), Uruguay (Trouville and Bigua), Argentina (Gimnasia) and Czech Republic (Usti n/Labem and GBA Lions).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Hungarian League Semifinals in 2016. Robinson was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Uruguay LUB Guard of the Year in 2019.
He attended West Virginia University Institute of Technology until 2012 and it will be his tenth season as a professional player.
