La Union - Gimnasia 97-80 There was no surprise in Formosa where 17th ranked Gimnasia CR (2-11) was defeated by tenth ranked La Union (6-4) 97-80 on Monday. It was a great evening for point guard Agustin Sigel (165-2) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Matias Caire (188-99) helped adding 25 points. Guard Franco Ferraria (191-2) responded with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and center Leandro Fogel (201-0) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four La Union and five Gimnasia CR players scored in double figures. La Union have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to ninth place. Gimnasia CR lost seventh consecutive game.
