The most exciting game of round 36 in the La Liga Argentina took place in Concepcion de Urug.. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. The winners were led by Franco Borsellino who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 assists and Franco Alorda supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Even 29 points, 5 assists and 5 steals by guard Sebastian Mignani (185-90) did not help to save the game for Villa S.Martin. Dep Norte maintains twelfth position with 3-7 record, which they share with Lanus and Rocamora. Villa S.Martin at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost.

The best player for the winners was Juan Luis Abeiro who scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Ameghino's coach Pablo Castro used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Gonzalo Alonso who recorded 24 points and 6 rebounds. Ameghino have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Parque Sur. Salta Basket lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. They share it with Rivadavia.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 36: Estudiantes T. was destroyed by Independiente on the opponent's court 84-65. Colon SF unfortunately lost to CAO Ceres in a home game 68-84. Bahia recorded a loss to Ciclista on the road 77-81. GELP crushed Villa Mitre on its own court 97-68.

An interesting game took place in Villa Maria where 7th ranked Salta Basket (5-7) was upset on the court of tenth ranked Ameghino (5-5) 94-80 on Sunday. Independiente looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Estudiantes T.'s players. The best player for the winners was swingman Luciano Silva (190-96) who scored 14 points and 5 assists. Luciano Tambucci (194-98) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Independiente's coach Fabian Daverio allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Diego Peralta (195-94) who recorded 14 points and 6 rebounds and guard Jose Muruaga (188-84) added 15 points respectively. Independiente moved-up to eighth place. Estudiantes T. lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost.
