A new format is being implemented in this Liga Argentina 2021-22 and one of them goes through the incorporation of the figure of the Play In. An additional to the competition that puts to fight the teams that finished in the positions 11, 12, 13 and 14 for the two last place towards the Playoffs.
In the Norte the protagonists will be: Centro Deportivo Rivadavia de Mendoza,Estudiantes de Tucuman, Colon Santa Fe and Atletico Echague Parana. While in the Sur the post will be carried: Lanus Buenos Aires, Quilmes Mar del Plata, Tomas de Rocamora and Weber Bahia Basket U22 team.
And how is the format?
The first four seeds of the two Conferences will have a direct ticket to the quarter-final round, so they will only have to wait for what happens in the Reclassification round, to know who their rivals will be. Series to be defined by the best of 5 matches.
For the Norte Independiente BBC de Santiago del Estero de Oliva, San Isidro, Barrio Parque and CAO Ceres are the positioned; while in the South : Viedma, Zarate, Estudiantes de Olavarria and Racing de Chivilcoy are the deserving of the square.
And who will play the Reclassification?
The teams placed in the positions from 5 to 10 ( 6 places ) will be classified to this previous round where they will play alongside the two qualifiers of the Play In. Playing the series for the best of 3 (1-2 ).
Being the direct positions for this phase:
Norte: Atletico Juventud Florentino Ameghino, Salta Basket, Club Atletico Villa San Martin, Independiente BBC de Santiago del Estero Deportivo Norte, Libertad.
Sur: Estudiantes de Concordia, Villa Mitre, Ciclista, Gimnasia y esgrima, Del Progreso, Pergamino.
Eyh and the Play In?
Teams that are in positions 11 ,12 , 13 and 14 will have to play single match the option to enter the Reclassification.

Centro Deportivo Rivadavia de Mendoza will receive Estudiantes de Tucuman : The winner goes to the round of reclamation/ The loser will play with the winner of the clash between Colon-Atletico Echague Parana.
Colon Santa Fe will receive Atletico Echague Parana. The winner plays with the loser of the clash Centro Deportivo Rivadavia de Mendoza-Tucuman. The loser will be eliminated.
Sur
11 and 14 April :
Lanus Buenos Aires will receive Quilmes Mar del Plata: The winner goes on to the reclaim round/ The loser will play with the winner of the clash between Tomas de Rocamora- Weber Bahia Basket U22 team.
Tomas de Rocamora will receive Weber Bahia Basket U22 team. The winner plays with the loser of the clash Lanu-Quilmes Mar del Plata. The loser will be eliminated.
In other words, there will be a team that will have to play 2 games (Monday and Thursday) to be able to access the reclassification.
A somewhat entangled format, but that somehow allows to leave alive and in competition 28 of the 30 teams.
