Regatas Corrientes (La Liga) landed 28-year old American 203cm power forward Charles Mitchell (college: Georgia Tech), agency: Slash Sports. Mitchell played recently at Dorados in Mexican LBE league. In 21 games he averaged impressive 16.1ppg, 6.9rpg and 2.0apg this season. He helped them to win the LBE title.
Mitchell is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in seven different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Mitchell has played previously professionally in Holland, Japan (Niigata Albirex), Taiwan (Bank of Taiwan), Uruguay (Nacional), Argentina (Ferro), Czech Republic (Olomoucko) and The Basketball Tournament (Team 23 and Angel's Atlanta).
He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2016 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
