Andy Ogide joins Boca

Boca Juniors Buenos Aires (La Liga) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old Nigerian-American ex-international center Andy Ogide (206cm-111kg-1987, college: Colorado State) for new 2022-23 season. Ogide played last season at Ram Up (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S.
He also represented Nigeria at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) six years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 4.4ppg, 1.2rpg.
Ogide is quite experienced player. Ogide's career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in seven different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. Ogide has played previously professionally in France (Poitiers), Italy (Roseto, San Severo and Piacenza), Japan (Bambitious Nara), Russia (Universitet-Yugra Surgut), Spain (Ourense and Breogan), Turkey (OGM Orman) and Israel (Hapoel Migdal Haemek).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of Russian Superleague in 2014. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Honorable Mention back in 2016.
Ogide graduated from Colorado State in 2011 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
