Quimsa Santiago del Estero (La Liga) inked 33-year old American 196cm shooting guard Brandon Robinson (college: Clayton & State) for upcoming season. It is actually his comeback to Santiado del Estero as he has played here before. Robinson played this summer at Florida TNT (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In two TBT games just recently he averaged 14.5ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.0apg. The last season he played at Flamengo in Brazilian NBB where in 37 games he had 11.9ppg, 3.4rpg and 2.4apg. Robinson helped them to make it to the Brazilian National League final after they ended regular season as second best team. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian League Sixth Man of the Year and to the All-Star Game. He also played 7 games in Liga Americas where he recorded 10.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.4apg and 1.1spg.
Robinson is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Robinson has played previously professionally in Canada (Rainmen, The Storm and Windsor Express), Chile (Osorno, Osorno and Las Animas), China (Hebei), Germany (Chemnitz and Hakro Merlins), Mexico (Astros), SEBL (Marietta O.) and The Basketball Tournament (Team DRC). His team won InterContinental Cup in 2022.
Among many awards he received Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Player of the Year award and Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Import Player of the Year award in 2020.
He graduated from Clayton & State in 2011 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
