Obras Basket Buenos Aires (La Liga) landed 29-year old Nigerian 193cm forward Jeffrey Solarin (college: Idaho State) for new season. Solarin played most recently at Zamora Enamora in Spanish LEB Silver. In 29 games he averaged impressive 15.2ppg and 6.4rpg last season. He can count that year as a very successful as was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
The previous (2020-21) season he played at Real Murcia (LEB Gold) in Spain where in 28 games he had 8.9ppg and 4.4rpg in that year.
Solarin has played also professionally for other Spanish teams like Chantada and Azuqueca.
Among many awards he won Spanish LEB Silver championship title in 2020. He received Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Import Player of the Year award in 2020.
Solarin graduated from Idaho State in 2015 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
