Obera Tennis Club (La Liga) landed experienced 38-year old 203cm center Santiago Gonzalez for new season. Gonzalez played most recently at Argentino.
Part of previous (2020-21) season he spent at Club San Jose (TFB). He helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. Gonzalez also played for Tokio (TFB).
He has spent his entire career in Argentina playing for eight other teams: Echague, Boca, Instituto, MH Basket, Pedro Echague, San Martin, San Isidro and Salta Basket. Gonzalez was voted to Latinbasket.com Argentinian TNA All-Domestic Players Team back in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Obera.
