Talented Federico Zezular (198-SF-2001) had a great game in the last round for league's leader San Isidro and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 21-year old had the game-high 24 points adding seven rebounds for San Isidro in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Ameghino (#2, 6-2) with 33-point margin 99-66. It allowed San Isidro to jump to the first place in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. San Isidro have a solid 6-1 record. In the team's last game Zezular had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at San Isidro, through which he has constantly improved. Zezular has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 19.9ppg) and averages solid 2.0bpg and 79.6% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young center Alejandro Quigley (203-C-1993, agency: BIG) of Rocamora. Quigley impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. It was enough for Rocamora to edge the higher-ranked Lanus (#6, 3-2) by 2 points 105-103. This victory allowed Rocamora to move up to 15th position in South. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Rocamora managed to get this year. Quigley is a newcomer at Rocamora and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.
The third best performed player last round was Manuel Alonso (195-PG-1999, agency: BIG) of CAO Ceres (#16). Alonso scored 25 points and passed six assists. Despite Alonso's great performance CAO Ceres lost 79-81 to the higher-ranked Dep Norte (#10, 3-4). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. CAO Ceres can only dream about fighting for top spots in North. Alonso has a very solid season. In 7 games in Argentina he scored 17.7ppg. He also has 4.4rpg, 3.1apg and FGP: 55.7%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
