Manuel Alonso
23-year old point guard Manuel Alonso (195-PG-1999, agency: BIG) had a very impressive game in the last round for CAO Ceres and receives a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had the game-high 33 points adding seven rebounds and seven assists for CAO Ceres in his team's victory, helping them to beat Colon SF (#5, 5-3) 93-81. CAO Ceres is placed at 14th position in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 6 games and recorded just two victories. In the team's last game Alonso had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be CAO Ceres' top player in his first season with the team. Alonso has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 19.6ppg) and averages solid 56.1% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Richard Granberry (203-F-1993) of Montmartre. He is American forward in his first season at Montmartre. In the last game Granberry recorded impressive 31 points and 5 rebounds. Of course he led Montmartre to another comfortable win 83-69 over Jachal (#17, 0-6) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Montmartre to move up to 6th position in North. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 4-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Granberry is a newcomer at Montmartre and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to forward Emilio Stucky (198-F-1994) of Racing (#3). Stucky scored 27 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Racing, leading his team to a 76-65 win against the lower-ranked Pico FC (#17, 1-6). Racing is closer and closer to top of the standings in South. They will still need more victories. But 5-1 record is not that bad... Stucky has a very solid season. In 6 games in Argentina he scored 17.3ppg. He also has 7.2rpg and FGP: 66.7%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
