Argentinian La Liga Argentina round 11 best performance: Dwayne Russell

American Forward Dwayne Russell (203-F) had an amazing evening in the last round for Colon SF, receiving a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 11.
The player had a double-double of 35 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Independiente (#13, 3-6) 96-87. Colon SF is placed at 7th position in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Colon SF will need more victories to improve their 5-3 record. Russell turned to be Colon SF's top player in his first season with the team. Former Saint Thomas University star has very solid stats this year. Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Tirrell Brown (198-PF-1993) of GEPU (#3). Brown scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was a key player of GEPU, leading his team to a 95-81 easy win against the lower-ranked Sarmiento R. (#17, 1-8). Brown has a very solid season. In 4 games in Argentina he scored 20.5ppg.
