The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked San Isidro (19-4) in Parana on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by eleventh ranked Echague (9-13) 77-74. Forward Ignacio Zulberti (200-1996) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Federico Gonzalez (183-1988) chipped in 6 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. La Liga Argentina top team - Racing (17-4) added another victory to their record. This time they beat ninth ranked Quilmes MP (9-9) in Chivilcoy 83-76. Forward Emilio Stucky (198-1994) notched 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Jose Peralta supported him with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Even 27 points and 5 rebounds by the former international point guard Luis Cequeira (179-1985) did not help to save the game for Quilmes MP. Quilmes MP's coach Luis Fernandez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Racing maintains first position with 17-4 record. Quilmes MP at the other side keeps the ninth place with nine games lost. Racing will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lanus' coach Sebastian Saborido tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Zarate Basket maintains third position with 14-7 record having seven points less than leader Racing. Loser Lanus keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. Salta Basket was defeated by Montmartre on the road 85-83. Pergamino beat Pico FC on its own court 85-75. Salta Basket lost to Independiente in Santiago del Estero 64-74.
