Guard Julian Ruiz (185-G-1998) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Del Progreso, receiving a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 33.
The 24-year old player recorded a triple-double of 27 points adding also 14 rebounds and 11 assists, while his team beat H.Americano (#6, 12-8) 86-75. Del Progreso is placed at 13th position in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. Del Progreso is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-13 record. Ruiz turned to be Del Progreso's top player in his first season with the team. Julian Ruiz has solid league stats. He is in league's top in assists (6th best: 5.2apg).
The second best player in last round's games was another Del Progreso's star - young Facundo Sanz (197-F-1996, agency: BIG). Sanz had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Del Progreso cruised to a 86-75 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked H.Americano (#6, 12-8). This victory allowed Del Progreso to move up to 13th position in Conferencia Sur. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-13 record. Sanz is a newcomer at Del Progreso, but is already one of team's top players.
Third on the list of top players last round was swingman Manuel Lambrisca (192-G/F-1997) of league's second-best Ciclista. Lambrisca scored 29 points and grabbed five rebounds. He was a key player of Ciclista, leading his team to a 87-73 easy win against #4 ranked Dep Viedma in a game of the week. Ciclista needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Conferencia Sur. Their record at this point is 18 victories and 7 lost games. Lambrisca has a great season in Argentina. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.4ppg (8th best). He also has 2.3spg and FGP: 60.1%.
Other top performing players last week:
4. Gonzalo Guevara (196-F-1998) of Villa S.Martin - 17 points, 18 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
