The most exciting game of round 41 in the La Liga Argentina took place in Colon. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 7th ranked La Union (14-15) to eighth ranked Pergamino (13-16) 68-66 on Sunday evening. Forward Ivan Albornoz (200-1986) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Barrio Parque have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 24-4 record, which they share with Racing. Tucuman lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth position with 22 games lost. They share it with Sarmiento R.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Pergamino (13-16) and Estudiantes C. (10-20), which took place in Concordia. Higher ranked Pergamino lost to sixteenth ranked Estudiantes C. in a road game 62-70 on Monday. Mauro Gauna nailed 16 points for the winning side. Manuel Gomez came up with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for Pergamino in the defeat. Pergamino's coach Julian Pagura tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. There were no big surprises in other games of round 41: Del Progreso was beaten by Lanus on the road 68-56. Rocamora won against Villa Mitre on its own court 92-77. GEPU managed to outperform Jachal in San Luis 97-83. CAO Ceres recorded a loss to Rivadavia at home 85-94. Libertad was defeated by Dep Norte on the opponent's court 69-65. San Isidro beat Colon SF in a home game 80-71.
The most impressive performance of 41th round was 14 points and 7 rebounds by Juan Cruz Oberto of San Isidro.

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Lanus (16-12) beat 15th ranked Del Progreso (10-18) in Buenos Aires 68-56 on Monday. Strangely Del Progreso outrebounded Lanus 40-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Jorge Banegas (190-1993, agency: BIG) nailed 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Phil Bledsoe (198, college: GSC) accounted for 9 points. Swingman Gustavo Maranguello (190-1983) came up with 9 points and 12 rebounds and Marco Roumec (189-2003) added 16 points respectively for Del Progreso in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lanus moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Independiente and H.Americano.
