La Liga Argentina Round 43: Barrio Parque keep a leadership position

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Barrio Parque as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Barrio Parque smashed 6th ranked Independiente in Cordoba 97-49. They outrebounded Independiente 51-24 including a 41-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Barrio Parque looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Independiente's players. Forward Emilio Stucky (198-1994) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds for Racing in the defeat. Ciclista maintains third place with 22-9 record having just one point less than leader Racing. Racing at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. They share it with Ameghino. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Montmartre recorded a loss to Colon SF on the road 95-80. Villa Mitre defeated Rocamora on its own court 88-80. CAO Ceres was beaten by Sarmiento R. in Chaco 74-65. H.Americano destroyed Parque Sur at home 89-61. Echague unfortunately lost to Salta Basket on the opponent's court 74-83.
