The most exciting game of round 46 in the La Liga Argentina took place in Juninense. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of higher ranked Ciclista (22-10) to seventh ranked Pergamino (16-16) 72-70 on Wednesday evening. La Liga Argentina top team - Racing (26-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked GELP (13-18) in Chivilcoy 93-69. Forward Emilio Stucky (198-1994) notched 22 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and Taiel Gomez supported him with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Even 11 points and 8 rebounds by center Franco Barroso (207-1994) did not help to save the game for GELP. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Racing maintains first position with 26-5 record, which they share with Ameghino. GELP at the other side dropped to the thirteenth place with 18 games lost.
The game in Rio Gallegos was also quite interesting. Second ranked Zarate Basket (24-8) played at the court of 5th ranked H.Americano (18-13). Zarate Basket managed to secure a 7-point victory 76-69 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of H.Americano. Agustin Brocal fired 19 points and 4 assists for the winners. Arnold Louis produced 17 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Zarate Basket maintains second position with 24-8 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Racing. Loser H.Americano keeps the fifth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Dep Norte.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 46: Villa S.Martin lost to Ameghino on the opponent's court 75-90. Villa Mitre unfortunately lost to Quilmes MP in a home game 90-94. Sarmiento R. recorded a loss to San Isidro on the road 83-97. Rivadavia defeated Libertad on its own court 89-88. Tucuman was beaten by Montmartre in a road game 90-86. La Union won against Pilar at home 87-74. Rocamora was outscored by Dep Viedma on the opponent's court 99-46.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 15 points and 7 rebounds by Brian Osuna of Dep Viedma.



Ameghino - Villa S.Martin 90-75

Very expected game in Villa Maria where 7th ranked Villa S.Martin (15-14) was defeated by second ranked Ameghino (26-5) 90-75 on Wednesday. Lucas Aragon (191-2004) fired 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Mateo Beigier (187-2001) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Ameghino players scored in double figures. Colombian Soren De Luque (196-1998) produced 24 points and 6 rebounds and forward Gonzalo Guevara (196-1998) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ameghino have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Racing. Loser Villa S.Martin keeps the seventh place with 14 games lost. Ameghino will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Montmartre dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tucuman's 30. Center Nicolas Franco (204-1999) fired a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Martin Gomez (197-1996) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds.
