Villa Mitre de Bahia Blanca (La Liga Argentina) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old power forward Guillermo Romero (198cm-1995) for season 2023-24. Romero played last season at La Union. In 36 La Liga Argentina games he recorded 6.4ppg and 5.8rpg.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at Parque Sur where in 40 La Liga Argentina games he averaged 11.7ppg, 9.5rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg in that year. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week (2 times) and voted to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Argentina Conferencia Sur Second Team.
He was a member of Argentinian U16 National Team back in 2011.
Romero has played previously for six other teams: Ciclista, Colon Santa Fe, Rocamora, San Isidro, Atletico TL and Sarmiento.
He won Argentinian Torneo Federal (Sur-Bonaerense) championship title in 2016.
