There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in La Liga. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Platense smashed Union SF in Florida 93-70. The game was mostly controlled by Platense. Union SF managed to win fourth quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for point guard Facundo Vazquez (185-1998) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Australian center Matthew McCarthy (205-1996, college: USF) contributed with 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Cuban center Pedro Bombino (206-2000, agency: Pro Sports) answered with 20 points for Union SF. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Regatas (1-1) recorded a loss in Corrientes. Hosts were defeated by Penarol (1-2) 87-80. It was a great evening for point guard Joaquin Valinotti (185-1998) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 5 rebounds. Robert Whitfield helped adding 19 points. The best for the losing side was American center Gary McGhee (210-1988, college: Pittsburgh) with 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Regatas' coach Fernando Calvi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Penarol will play against Obras (#18) in Buenos Aires in the next round. Regatas will play on the road against San Lorenzo (#5) in Almagro to get more than just one victory in their record.
The game in Florida supposed to be also quite interesting. Comunicaciones (2-2) played at the court of Platense (3-1). Platense smashed Comunicaciones 92-70 on Friday. It was an exceptional evening for Pedro Ianguas who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!). Keron DeShields came up with 19 points and 8 rebounds for Comunicaciones in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 3: Comunicaciones was beaten by Gimnasia on the road 83-77. Winless Obras lost to undefeated San Lorenzo on its own court 74-83. La Union unfortunately lost to Independ.O. in Olivia 72-90. Zarate managed to beat La Union at home 72-64. Boca crushed Penarol on the opponent's court 92-72.
