Obras Basket Buenos Aires (La Liga) landed 32-year old Venezuelan international 197cm forward Miguel Ruiz, agency: Pro Sports. Ruiz played this summer at Guaros in Venezuelan SPB league. In 15 games just recently he averaged 4.6ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.5apg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. Ruiz also played for Panteras (SPB) where in 5 games he had 6.4ppg, 9.4rpg and 2.0apg.
He also represented Venezuela at the World Cup in China four years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 4.2ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.4spg.
Ruiz is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Brazil (UNIFACISA), Uruguay (Trouville and Sayago) and Argentina (Gimnasia, Libertad, Regatas, Sarmiento de Formosa and Platense) and Venezuela (Trotamundos and Aduaneros). Ruiz won Venezuelan SLB championship title in 2021 and 2022.
Among many awards he was voted to Latinbasket.com Argentinian TNA All-Imports Team back in 2016.
