Lisandro Fernandez claims Argentinian La Liga Argentina Hoops Agents weekly honour

Lisandro Fernandez (194-G/F-1998, agency: BIG) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Quilmes Mar del Plata and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 25-year old swingman had the game-high 22 points adding six rebounds and six assists for Quilmes MP in his team's victory, helping them to beat Rocamora (#16, 3-8) 100-89. Quilmes MP is placed at 8th position in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. Quilmes MP is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-5 record. Fernandez turned to be Quilmes MP's top player in his first season with the team. Lisandro Fernandez averages this season 15.4ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young power forward Alvaro Caraffa (199-PF-2000, agency: BIG) of Jachal Basquet Club. Despite Bellozas' great performance U.Mar del Plata lost 72-75 to the higher-ranked Provincial (#11, 5-6). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Bellozas has individually a great season in Argentina. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.4ppg (8th best).
