LDD Round 10 (Regular Season): Gimnasia defeat Zarate in the closest game of the week

Sixteenth-ranked Zarate (3-6) gave a tough game to first ranked Gimnasia CR (10-1) in Comodoro Rivadavia on Wednesday. Gimnasia CR managed to secure only one-point victory 83-82. However their fans expected much easier game. Gimnasia forced 19 Zarate turnovers and had a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Dominican swingman Angel Reyes (201-2002) had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Ramiro Stehli (190-2002) chipped in 32 points during the contest. Very expected game when 18th ranked Platense (4-7) was defeated on the road by second ranked Obera (8-2) 89-71 on Saturday.
