An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Chivilcoy. Second ranked Dep Viedma faced 4th ranked Racing. Guests from Rio Negro (10-4) defeated host Racing (9-6) 83-72. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Racing. Dep Viedma made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Racing helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Maximiliano Tabieres (198-1989) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). point guard Mariano Marina (-1999) chipped in 18 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Dep Viedma's coach Guillermo Bogliacino used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Alejo Barrales (174-1991) produced 7 points and 8 assists for the hosts. Dep Viedma keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Villa S.Martin and Pico FC. Racing at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Center Laureano Zalio (207-1995, agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Lucas Gorosterrazu contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Rivadavia's coach Sebastian Torre used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Power forward Conrado Echevarria (195-1998, agency: BIG) replied with 14 points and 8 rebounds for Dep Norte. Rivadavia maintains seventh position with 7-4 record. Dep Norte at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Racing. Rivadavia will play against San Isidro (#9) in San Francisco in the next round. Dep Norte will have a break next round.

Jordi Godoy responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Suardi (12-2) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Newly promoted Suardi maintains first position. Loser GEPU keeps the fifth place with five games lost. Suardi will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. GEPU will play against San Isidro (#9) and hope to secure a win.
