Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game in La Plata was quite interesting. Second ranked Pico FC (11-4) played at the court of 6th ranked GELP (8-8). Pico FC managed to secure a 6-point victory 71-65 on Sunday. Facundo Saez fired a double-double by scoring 22 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Tobias Cravero (197-1999) chipped in 15 points. Pico FC's coach Lisandro De Tomasi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Santiago Bruera (206-1998, college: FAU, agency: BIG) produced 22 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Pico FC keeps a position of league leader. GELP at the other side dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost. They share the position with Provincial. Pico FC are looking forward to face Ameghino (#11) in Villa Maria in the next round and are hoping to win another game. GELP will have a break next round.
The game in Buenos Aires was also worth to mention about. One of their biggest challengers Racing (9-9) played at the court of fifth ranked Lanus (9-5). Lanus managed to secure a 4-point victory 85-81. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Andres Lugli (188-1995) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points, 9 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals. Lorenzo Capponi contributed with 22 points for the winners. Forward Norberto Stucky (198-1994) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds for Racing. Lanus have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Racing lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Lanus will play against Pergamino (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Racing will play against Ciclista (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Pergamino managed to escape with a 3-point win 73-70 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Racing A.. Jose Zesati had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. Pergamino's coach Julian Pagura allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side Matias Nunez responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Pergamino moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Ciclista. Newly promoted Racing A. dropped to the ninth position with two games lost. Pergamino will meet higher ranked Lanus (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Racing A. will have a break next round.

Rest of the games of round 22 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
H.Americano defeated Quilmes MP in Rio Gallegos 69-60. Rocamora beat La Union at home 82-71. Ciclista lost to Pilar on the opponent's court 82-87. Salta Basket managed to outperform Colon in a home game 89-84.
The best stats of 22th round was 15 points and 11 rebounds by Diego Peralta of Salta Basket.




Quilmes MP - H.Americano 60-69

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 13th ranked Quilmes MP's (6-10) home loss to twelfth ranked H.Americano (7-5) 60-69 on Saturday. The former international power forward Gonzalo Torres (201-1994) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Matias Aristu (194-1995) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side swingman Lisandro Fernandez (194-1998, agency: BIG) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Rodrigo Acuna (198-1995) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Quilmes MP's coach Luis Fernandez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. H.Americano moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Rivadavia. Loser Quilmes MP keeps the thirteenth position with ten games lost. H.Americano will meet U.Mar del Plata (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Quilmes MP will have a break next round.

Rocamora - La Union 82-71

There was a surprise result when seventeenth ranked Rocamora (4-12) defeated at home higher ranked La Union (7-9) 82-71 on Saturday. Rocamora looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Justo Catalin (182-1999) had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Matias Caire (188-1999) chipped in 20 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Brian Osuna (202-2001) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Facundo Gago (178-1996) scored 14 points. Four La Union players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rocamora maintains seventeenth position with 4-12 record. Loser La Union dropped to the twelfth place with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Very expected game when 14th ranked Ciclista (5-9) was defeated on the road by third ranked Pilar (10-4) 87-82 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Pilar made 25-of-27 free shots (92.6 percent) during the game. American center Dishon Lowery (200-1998, college: OKBU) had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Puerto Rican guard Jesus Cruz (196-1998, college: Fairfield) chipped in 18 points during the contest. At the losing side Aaron Pablo (200-2000) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 17 rebounds and forward Jonatan Basualdo (198-1999) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Five Pilar and four Ciclista players scored in double figures. Pilar have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Villa S.Martin. Loser Ciclista keeps the fourteenth position with nine games lost. They share it with Pergamino. Pilar will meet at home Racing (#5) in the next round. Ciclista will play against Racing (#5) in Chivilcoy and hope to secure a win.
