Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Bottom-ranked Argentino managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of four consecutive losses on Saturday night. This time they edged eighteenth-ranked La Union in Junin 67-65. It was a great evening for American forward Richard Granberry (203-1993, college: Virginia St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Manny Payton (183-1997, college: FSU) helped adding 14 points. At the losing side point guard Luciano Guerra (184-1997) responded with 29 points and 5 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Argentino (3-14) moved-up to nineteenth place, which they share with Union. La Union at the other side keeps the eighteenth position with 11 games lost. Argentino will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. La Union will play at home against the league's leader Quimsa (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
An interesting game took place in Almagro where higher ranked San Lorenzo (11-7) was upset on its own court by thirteenth ranked Riachuelo (8-9) 72-62. It was an exceptional evening for Dominican-American forward Anyeuri Castillo (201-1997, college: USC Aiken) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Andres Ibarguen accounted for 14 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Kevin Hernandez (205-1991) came up with 15 points and 6 rebounds for San Lorenzo in the defeat. Riachuelo moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Zarate. San Lorenzo at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Eleventh ranked Obera (9-7) crushed at home 9th ranked Gimnasia (9-10) by 36 points 99-63, which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. Agustin Barreiro fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. Tyrone White produced 9 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Obera moved-up to eighth place. Loser Gimnasia dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. Obera will meet higher ranked Instituto (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Gimnasia will have a break next round.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 19: Riachuelo won against Ferro on the opponent's court 76-70. Union unfortunately lost to Independ.O. in a home game 77-88. Gimnasia recorded a loss to Regatas on the road 63-80.

Ferro - Riachuelo LR 70-76

Everything could happen in Buenos Aires at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Riachuelo and their close opponent Ferro had identical 7-9 record. But Ferro was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from La Rioja 76-70 on Friday night. Dominican-American forward Anyeuri Castillo (201-1997, college: USC Aiken) fired 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Nicolas De los Santos (180-1988) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Riachuelo LR's coach Sebastian Gonzalez used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Emiliano Lezcano (187-2001) produced 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and naturalized Italian center Damian Tintorelli (205-1981) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Ferro players scored in double figures. Riachuelo (8-9) moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Zarate. Loser Ferro dropped to the fourteenth position with ten games lost. Riachuelo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ferro will play against Union (#20) and hope to secure a win.
