Naturalized Italian Swingman Adrian Boccia (195-F/G-1982) had a very impressive game in the last round for Provincial de Rosario, receiving a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 41-year old player had a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds, while his team outclassed GELP (#10, 8-10) with 30-point margin 91-61. Provincial maintains the 7th position in their group in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. He was a key player of Pergamino, leading his team to a 88-82 win against the higher-ranked Pilar (#5, 11-6). The chances of Pergamino not to end season at such low position in Conferencia Sur, however are less than slim as they have already lost 11 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Gobetti could try to bring Pergamino's a little bit higher in the standings. Gobetti has a very solid season. In 17 games in Argentina he scored 9.1ppg.
