Pennacchiotti's double-double lands him La Liga Argentina Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

33-year old Franco Pennacchiotti (205-C/F-1990) put on an amazing game in the last round for Villa Mitre de Bahia Blanca and receives a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 27.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 19 rebounds, while his team beat Quilmes MP (#14, 7-12) 88-79. Thanks to this victory Villa Mitre moved-up to the 6th position in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Villa Mitre will need more victories to improve their 11-8 record. Pennacchiotti turned to be Villa Mitre's top player in his first season with the team. Pennacchiotti has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 18.9ppg) and averages solid 51.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Aaron Pablo (200-SF-2000) of Ciclista Juninense. He is a in his first season at Ciclista. In the last game Pablo recorded an impressive 35 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. It was enough for Ciclista to edge the higher-ranked Pilar (#5, 12-8) by 4 points 85-81. This victory allowed Ciclista to move up to 11th position in Conferencia Sur. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-11 record. Pablo is a newcomer at Ciclista and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Lucas Arn (197-PF-1989) of league's second-best Atenas Cordoba. Arn scored 24 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was a key player of Atenas, leading his team to a 90-82 win against the lower-ranked Barrio Parque (#9, 8-8). Atenas is closer and closer to top of the standings in Conferencia Norte. They will still need more victories. But 13-3 record is not that bad... Arn has a very solid season. In 16 games in Argentina he scored 14.7ppg. He also has 6.9rpg and a FGP of 63.1%.
