Argentinian La Liga Argentina round 31 best performance: Juan Bollo

Center Juan Bollo (203-C-1992) had an amazing evening in the last round for Villa Mitre de Bahia Blanca, receiving a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 31.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds, while his team edged out Provincial (#7, 10-10) 93-90. Villa Mitre maintains the 6th position in their group in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. Villa Mitre is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 12-10 record. Bollo has many years of experience at Villa Mitre, through which he has constantly improved. Juan Bollo averages this season 7.5ppg and 6.2rpg.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Gonzalo Romero (196-F-1997) of Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos (#8). Romero scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of H.Americano, leading his team to a 75-74 win against the lower-ranked Ciclista (#13, 8-12). H.Americano needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Conferencia Sur. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 9 lost games. Romero has a very solid season. In 18 games in Argentina he scored 12.0ppg. He also has 7.2rpg and a FGP of 59.0%.
