Point guard Milton Vittar (185-1991) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Lisandro Gomez contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Pablo Martinez (197-1982) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds for Suardi. Suardi's coach Andres Poi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Independiente moved-up to eleventh place. Newly promoted Suardi still keeps top position with four games lost. Independiente will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Suardi will play at home against GEPU and will have a slim chance for a victory.
Leader Racing delivered the eighteenth victory on Wednesday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked H.Americano (9-10) 86-60 in Chivilcoy. Racing have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 18-13 record. H.Americano at the other side dropped to the ninth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Barrio Parque. Racing will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. H.Americano will play against Pergamino (#15) and hope to secure a win.
