The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most important game in the last round took place in Armstrong between second ranked Suardi (13-5) and sixth ranked Dep Norte (12-8) on Tuesday night. Suardi was defeated by Dep Norte in a tough game on the road 84-92. Dep Norte made 25-of-28 free shots (89.3 percent) during the game, while Suardi only scored seven points from the stripe. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Lautaro Mare (196-1998) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds. point guard Joaquin Baeza (182-1986, agency: BIG) contributed with 15 points and 9 assists for the winners. Dep Norte's coach Alejandro Cupulutti used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Gaston Fino (179-2002) replied with 20 points and 6 rebounds for Suardi. Dep Norte moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Villa S.Martin. Suardi lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the second position with five games lost. Dep Norte is looking forward to face Barrio Parque (#9) in Cordoba in the next round. Suardi will have a break next round.
Another interesting game for Provincial (11-11) which hosted in Rosario against 4th ranked Pico FC (14-6). Seventh ranked Provincial had an easy win 86-72. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Pico FC. The former international swingman Adrian Boccia (195-1982) scored 25 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Pablo Fernandez chipped in 12 points and 6 assists during the contest. Provincial's coach Gutavo Lalima allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Facundo Saez responded with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Newly promoted Provincial maintains seventh position with 11-11 record. Pico FC at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Provincial will play against Ameghino (#11) in Villa Maria in the next round. Pico FC will play on the road against La Union (#8) in Colon and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Even 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by Matias Nunez did not help to save the game for Racing A.. Quilmes MP have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place. Newly promoted Racing A. dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Other games in round 34 were not that significant. Lanus beat GELP on the road 71-63. Dep Viedma destroyed Rocamora on its own court 80-61. Salta Basket outscored Montmartre in a road game 83-60. Barrio Parque managed to beat Echague at home 77-75. Racing A. defeated U.Mar del Plata on the opponent's court 62-57.
The most impressive performance of 34th round was 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists by Cristian Cadillac of U.Mar del Plata.



Quilmes MP - Racing A. 63-62

A very close game took place in Mar del Plata between Quilmes MP and Racing A.. Eleventh ranked Quilmes MP (10-12) got a very close home victory over 13th ranked Racing A. (9-4). Quilmes MP managed to escape with a 1-point win 63-62 in the fight for the ninth place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Racing A.. Agustin Ecker (194-2000) notched a double-double by scoring 11 points and 17 rebounds to lead the effort and swingman Lisandro Fernandez (194-1998, agency: BIG) supported him with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. No shocking result in a game when third ranked Lanus (16-7) beat 12th ranked GELP (9-14) in La Plata 71-63 on Monday. Lanus outrebounded GELP 47-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. Joaquin Rios (193-1995) notched 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Franco Alorda (203-1999) supported him with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Even a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds by power forward Santiago Bruera (206-1998, college: FAU, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for GELP. Point guard Alan Moreno (185-1997, agency: BIG) added 19 points for lost side. Lanus maintains third position with 16-7 record having just six point less than leader Racing. GELP lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth place with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Maximiliano Tabieres (198-1989) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and point guard Mariano Marina (-1999) supported him with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Five Dep Viedma players scored in double figures. Even 17 points by point guard Juan Frontera (178-2002) did not help to save the game for Rocamora. Federico Repetti added 13 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dep Viedma maintains second position with 17-7 record having just eight point less than leader Racing. Loser Rocamora keeps the seventeenth place with 16 games lost. Dep Viedma will meet H.Americano (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rocamora will play against Pilar (#6) and hope to secure a win.
