Argentinian La Liga Argentina round 34 best performance: Maximiliano Tabieres

Power forward Maximiliano Tabieres (198-PF-1989) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Deportivo Viedma Rio Negro, receiving a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 34.
The 34-year old player had a double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds, while his team crushed Rocamora (#17, 5-16) with 19-point margin 80-61. Dep Viedma maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Dep Viedma will need more victories to improve their 17-7 record. Tabieres has many years of experience at Dep Viedma, through which he has constantly improved. Third on the list of top players last round was forward Matias Nunez (202-F/C-1995) of Racing Club Avellaneda (#11). Nunez showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Nunez's great performance the Racing A. lost 62-63 to slightly higher-ranked Quilmes MP (#10, 10-12). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Nunez has a very solid season. In 23 games in Argentina he scored 14.9ppg.
