Arn's 25 points and 6 rebounds give him La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award

34-year old power forward Lucas Arn (197-PF-1989) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Atenas Cordoba and receives a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 36.
He had the game-high 25 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Atenas in his team's victory, helping them to beat Independiente (#11, 9-13) 95-82. It allowed Atenas to consolidate first place in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Atenas has a very solid 16-5 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Arn had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He turned to be Atenas' top player in his first season with the team. Lucas Arn averages this season 15.1ppg and 6.7rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Josh Morris (203-F-1993) of Club Atletico Villa San Martin. He is American forward in his first season at Villa S.Martin. In the last game Morris recorded an impressive double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Villa S.Martin was edged by the lower-ranked Jachal (#15, 4-16) 83-79. Villa S.Martin managed to keep the same 6th spot in Conferencia Norte. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 13-9 record is not bad and everything may still change. Morris is a newcomer at Villa S.Martin and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Matias Nunez (202-F/C-1995) of Racing Club Avellaneda (#12). Nunez showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Nunez's great performance the Racing A. lost 69-86 to the higher-ranked Provincial (#6, 14-12). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Nunez has a very solid season. In 24 games in Argentina he scored 14.9ppg.
