Robinson's 25 points and 9 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

34-year old American shooting guard Brandon Robinson (196-SG-1989) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Quimsa Santiago del Estero and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 27.
He had the game-high 25 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Quimsa in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Independ.O. (#15, 9-13) 90-86. It allowed Quimsa to consolidate first place in the Argentinian league. Quimsa has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 20-2. In the team's last game Robinson had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be Quimsa's top player in his first season with the team. Brandon Robinson averages this season 14.3ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Charles Thomas (203-F/C-1986) of Regatas Corrientes. He is American forward in his first season at Regatas. In the last game Thomas recorded an impressive 28 points and 7 rebounds. Bad luck as Regatas was edged by slightly lower-ranked Riachuelo LR (#11, 11-13) 90-88. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Regatas dropped in the standings to 10th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The last thing Regatas needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 12 victories and 12 lost games. Elias has a very solid season. In 10 games in Argentina he scored 12.2ppg. He also has a FGP of 52.0% and 3PT: 41.0%. Federico Elias has also Argentinian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
