Grun's 31-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

27-year old swingman Federico Grun (191-G/F-1996) had a great game in the last round for San Lorenzo de Almagro and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 39.
He had the game-high 31 points adding seven rebounds and three assists for San Lorenzo in his team's victory, helping them to beat Zarate (#14, 13-20) 67-54. San Lorenzo maintains the 4th position in Argentinian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. San Lorenzo will need more victories to improve their 21-11 record. In the team's last game Grun had a remarkable eight three-pointers out of 16 attempts. He turned to be San Lorenzo's top player in his first season with the team. Federico Grun averages this season 12.9ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Anyeuri Castillo (201-F-1997) of Riachuelo de La Rioja. He is Dominican Rep.-American forward in his first season at Riachuelo LR. Third place about best performers goes to another Riachuelo LR's star - forward Andres Ibarguen (200-F-1996, agency: Helping Ballers). Ibarguen scored 22 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Despite Ibarguen's great performance the Riachuelo de La Rioja lost 96-99 to the higher-ranked Obras (#5, 20-11). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The chances of Riachuelo ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 19 games, recording just fourteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ibarguen could help Riachuelo LR to bring them higher in the standings. Ibarguen has a great season in Argentina. After 32 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.4rpg (4th best).
