Brocal's 26 points and 8 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old shooting guard Agustin Brocal (191-SG-1997) put on an amazing game in the last round for Zarate Basket Independiente and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 42.
He had the game-high 26 points adding eight rebounds and six assists for Zarate in his team's victory, helping them to beat Gimnasia (#6, 21-14) 78-69. Thanks to this victory Zarate moved-up to the 14th position in Argentinian league. Zarate is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 15-21 record. In the team's last game Brocal had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He has many years of experience at Zarate, through which he has constantly improved. Brocal has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 17.6ppg) and averages solid 52.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Michael Hughes (203-C-1998) of Ciclista Olimpico de La Banda. He is American center in his first season at Olimpico. In the last game Hughes recorded an impressive double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Olimpico was edged by slightly lower-ranked San Martin (#5, 22-14) 69-65. Olimpico managed to keep the same 3rd spot in the standings. His team's 23-12 record is not bad at all. Hughes is a newcomer at Olimpico and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Andres Ibarguen (200-F-1996, agency: Helping Ballers) of Riachuelo de La Rioja (#15). Ibarguen scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Riachuelo, leading his team to a 85-77 win against the lower-ranked Union SF (#18, 10-27). The chances of Riachuelo ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 22 games, recording just fifteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ibarguen could help Riachuelo LR to bring them higher in the standings. Ibarguen has a great season in Argentina. After 36 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.3rpg (5th best).
