Celia Fiorotto signs at Mantova

San Giorgio Mantova (Serie A2) signed 32-year-old Argentinian international 184cm power forward Celia Fiorotto for the upcoming season. She was the top scorer at Ponzano last season, averaging 9.3ppg, 8.3rpg, and 1.3apg in 28 Serie A2 games in Italy. In the previous (2022-23) season, she played at Adareva (LF Challenge) in the Spanish league.
She has also been a member of the Argentinian international program for some years. Fiorotto has regularly played for the Argentinian senior team since 2014 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2011.
She also represented Argentina at the FIBA South American Women's Championship in San Luis (Argentina) two years ago. Fiorotto's team won Silver and she averaged over 2 ppg.
Fiorotto is a very experienced player, having played professionally in Spain (Picken Claret), Uruguay (Bohemios), Argentina (Union Florida, Berazategui, and Quimsa), and Ecuador (Santa Maria).
Fiorotto's team achieved success in the Liga Sudamericana Semifinals in 2023. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF2 Honorable Mention in 2022.
