Atenas Cordoba (La Liga Argentina) added experienced 34-year-old Spanish power forward Antoni Vicens (204cm-1990) to their roster for the 2024-25 season. He played last season with Guerreros Neaume Marco Cepeda in the Ecuadorian Liga Basquet Pro.
Fifteen years ago, he represented Spain at the World Championships U19 in New Zealand. During this event, he averaged 13.8 ppg and had 7.4 rpg.
Vicens is a very experienced player. He has played in Austria (Lions), Colombia (Storm and Tigrillos), France (Coulommiers), Iceland (Skallagrimur), Spain (Ourense, Cornella, Mallorca, Zunder Palencia, and Avila), and Argentina (Instituto and Argentino).
Vicens has won many awards, including the Spanish EBA Group C-1 Regular Season in 2023. He was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LPB Honorable Mention in 2021.
