Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata (La Liga Argentina) agreed terms with 28-year old guard Jordi Godoy (185cm-89kg-1996, agency: BIG) for new 2024-25 season. He will still stay in Argentina where he played last season at Gimnasia y Esgrima y Pedernera Unidos San Luis. In 34 La Liga Argentina games in Argentina he had 8.0ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.8apg and 1.4spg. The previous (2022-23) season he played at another Argentinian team Central Argentino Olimpico Ceres. He also played for another Argentinian team Union de Santa Fe (La Liga).
Godoy has played for two other teams before: La Union and Atalaya Rosario.
He won the Argentinian La Liga Argentina championship title in 2021. He was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian Torneo Federal Honorable Mention in 2018.
