La Union Formosa (La Liga) strengthened their roster with the addition of 27-year-old double-passport holder American guard Romeao Ferguson (196cm-86kg-1997, college: Lipscomb) for the 2024-25 season. He joins another USA player Jay Bowie who is already on the team. Ferguson played last season with Titanes in the LNB league in the Dominican Republic. In just 14 games, he recorded impressive stats: 15.9ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.9apg, and 1.1spg. He also previously played for Diablos de Miranda (SPB) in the Venezuelan league.
He is a very experienced player. Ferguson has also played professionally in Chile (Puerto Varas, Castro, and Los Leones), Venezuela, Argentina (Atenas), and NBA G League (Osceola Magic).
He played in the final of the Chilean Liga Nacional in 2023, among many awards. He was also voted All-A-Sun Newcomer of the Year in 2021.
Ferguson graduated from Lipscomb University in 2021 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player. He played for other colleges like Belmont Abbey College and Lincoln Memorial University.
